See GEL fuel a stage-diving frenzy in new "Persona" video

Raging title track from upcoming EP

As GEL steamroll ever closer towards the release of their much-anticipated new Persona EP, the New Jersey noiseniks have now unveiled a sweat-soaked, concert-style music video for its raging title track.

Sonically, as you can hear up above, it's a GEL-style stomp-out of street punky beats, aggressively chromatic hardcore riffage, and from-the-gut scratchiness out of lead screamer Sami Kaiser.

You also get to see multiple sides of GEL on display in the new video, with the band absolutely tearing through "Persona" with an unhinged, stage-dive-inducing onstage ferocity, but also adorably dog-piling and laughing about with each other in more candid moments.

As previously reported, Persona is GEL's first release through Blue Grape Music. The five-song release was tracked with producer-engineer Jon Markson (Drug Church, Drain, Koyo, Jivebomb).

GEL are currently wrapping up a round of shows over in Europe, but will be touring the U.S. alongside Fiddlehead before taking off on a headlining run with MSPAINT and Destiny Bond. You'll find all the upcoming tour dates here.

Persona is due out August 16th, with an exclusive "violet" vinyl variant that's limited to just 300 copies available in Revolver's shop.
