Baltimore rappers LordsWrath and EU1OGY are purging themselves raw in the new music video for their collaborative song "PUKE."
The track — which teases LordsWrath's new Bornless album due this summer through Silent Pendulum Records — is a bass-boomed devastator, with a press release explaining that the marquee artist is giving "a voice to the outcast and the elevated."
Through a mix of creep-whispered and gravel-shouted bars, LordsWrath dishes on how he's feeding "the demon on my back" and just watching it grow. EU1OGY's the next on deck, with his extra-aggressive, delay-decayed verse summing up how he's about to lose it.
The stark, surreal video — directed by Jefferson Lui — finds LordsWrath and a skeleton-masked EU1OGY twitching around on a bed of rice, storming a foggy beach, getting tied up, and sharing screen time with a crab. LordsWrath noted in a statement that the symbolism-loaded clip highlights "culture washing, saturation and regurgitation all while representing our location, Baltimore."
Revolver is premiering the video right here right now — watch above.
Silent Pendulum Records founder and EU1OGY drummer Michael Kadnar added of the release: "Silent Pendulum Records and I are so excited to share this fresh, aggressive new sound emerging from Baltimore with you. Both LordsWrath and EU1OGY have such unique visions and multi-disciplinary talent which is prominently displayed in the video for 'PUKE.' It's a honor and pleasure to work with this caliber of artist."
