Metallica's hotly anticipated new album, 72 Seasons, is just around the corner, and today (April 3rd), the band has given fans a sneak peek at the deluxe vinyl edition. The exclusive first-look comes courtesy of the band's frontman James Hetfield himself, who showcases the lavish gatefold and die-cut packaging in a new unboxing video.
True to form, Papa Het can't help but inject a little of his sophomoric humor into the clip. In particular, when he comes across one of the vinyl sleeves featuring a large, very serious-looking portrait of Metallica lead guitarist Kirk Hammett, Hetfield goes in for the dual eye-poke and mole-tickle.
