Hear SPEED's new hardcore bruiser "DON'T NEED"

Third single from upcoming 'ONLY ONE MODE' album

Australian hardcore quintet Speed have offered up a third single off their forthcoming ONLY ONE MODE album. The song arrived accompanied by a characteristically kinetic music video, which was filmed and directed by Jack Rudder, Thomas Elliott and Speed themselves.

Like the previously released singles "THE FIRST TEST" and "REAL LIFE LOVE," the band's latest cut is a tough-as-nails hardcore anthem bursting with NYHC toughness and plenty of mosh-driving groove.

Blast it above.

"We've been going to hardcore shows and playing in bands for most of our lives now," Speed commented in a joint statement. "When you do this long enough I guess you get a pretty good understanding of who you are, what you stand for and why you're involved.

"Now, somewhat suddenly we have a lot more outsiders finding out about our culture for good or for worse. We don't need you or anyone to tell us how to navigate that. Cus to us, the meaning is the same as it's always been. We are hardcore kids in a hardcore band from Sydney, Australia."

ONLY ONE MODE is due to drop July 12th via Flatspot Records in the U.S., and Last Ride Records in Australia. Revolver's exclusive colored vinyl variant of the LP, limited to 300, is up for pre-order in our shop.
