See Weed Dispensary Heist Turn Bloody in Cypress Hill's New "Locos" Video

Robbery goes very wrong in deranged visual for 'Elephants on Acid' cut

Spinning off of the time-tested bank heist trope, Cypress Hill up the ante with their new "Locos" video, which sees a horde of criminals wreaking havoc inside a weed dispensary while cash and cannabis fly freely through the air. After clearing out the joint and killing off a few witnesses on the way, the robbers leave a bloody trail in their wake as the group's leader breaks off on his own, his bag of loot spewing the telltale purple haze of a security explosive device. Eventually he strips down, bit by bit, with cops and a heat-packing dispensary worker hot on his tail.

A jump cut to inside the dispensary reveals members of hip-hop pioneers Cypress Hill puffing on blunts and counting bills as the infectious track, featuring rapper Sick Jacken, bumps on in the background. Two hostages — presumably a failed robber and worker-turned–attempted-hero — are duct-taped in an American flag, and the party rages on into the night with a bonfire blazing as the group celebrates the spoils of success. The end scene shows an illuminated red dot pointed at the kidnaped duo, and the scene cuts before any more carnage can take place.

Having just wrapped a slew of American dates centered around their NYC Halloween show, Cypress Hill will next support their latest LP Elephants on Acid with a run of U.K. and European dates before heading back to this side of the Atlantic in February. Check out a full list of dates here.
