Maynard James Keenan's Sessanta celebration — a three-way, collaborative package tour featuring A Perfect Circle, Puscifer and Primus — has been treated to surprise guests every night of the trek. But fans at the L.A. stop on Saturday night (April 20th) beared witness to a particularly special moment.
During the Hollywood Bowl performance, Keenan invited his three TOOL bandmates — Adam Jones, Danny Carey and Justin Chancellor — up onstage to play "Ænema" with Primus frontman Les Claypool joining them on the mic.
Real-deal fans might remember that Claypool and his Primus buddies covered "Ænema" almost exactly one year ago with Carey and Chancellor, but this time the whole TOOL lineup was present for the epic alt-metal linkup.
