See Al Jourgensen Predict President Trump's Resignation: "This Lizard Is Going Down"

Plus: hear industrial-metal stalwarts sample POTUS on new track "Twilight Zone"

Ministry main man Jourgensen has made a regular habit of dishing out hot takes in the weeks leading up to the band's new album, AmeriKKKant. Following videos addressing antifacist groups and the Me Too movement, the firebrand has shared a clip predicting the resignation of President Donald Trump later this year, as a consequence of the FBI's ongoing investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 election, which has since resulted in guilty pleas from several current and former Trump associates.

"Generally, lizards like hot weather, because they're more active, but in this case, this lizard is going down." Jourgensen says of the president. But how, exactly? Certainly not through Congress, who Jourgensen calls "spineless." Rather, he says, it'll be a resignation on his part, so that he can keep his businesses running. ("But you know what?" he adds, "All these motherfuckers are going to jail at the end of the day, and they should.")

While we're on the topic, Ministry sample President Trump at length in "Twilight Zone," the band's new, eight-minute track set to appear on next month's album. Stream that below.

AmeriKKKant hits shelves March 9 on Nuclear Blast. Pre-order it here. Ministry are set to hit the road later this spring, with support from Chelsea Wolfe. Dates for the trek — during which Jourgensen will be joined by a star-studded touring lineup that includes ex-Slipknot drummer Joey Jordison and Fear Factory vocalist Burton C. Bell — can be found here.
