It's a good year to be a Kittie fan. The Canadian metal trailblazers dropped their heavy-as-hell first song in 13 years back in February, and then followed that with a more nu-metally cut earlier this month.
Now, the Lander sisters have announced a rare set of headlining tour dates that are going down later this summer in celebration of their forthcoming return album.
The five shows will take place in Toronto, NYC, Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas and Jackson, Michigan this coming July and August. Each date will feature a different opening band,
"We are absolutely thrilled to be headlining a handful of exclusive shows this summer in support of our forthcoming album," the band wrote in a statement. "Expect a celebration of new and old material alike, spanning our 25-year career thus far.
"We are looking forward to playing some setlist staples and bringing back some songs that we haven't played live in decades. Although limited, look for more shows to be announced at a later date. We've missed you and we can't wait to see you again!"
